how to setup a wired internet connection or extend your wireless range?
hello guys, i have been using wireless internet for my whole life and now i want to connect my computer in a wired mode or somehow extend the range of my wireless router. I couldn’t find ANYTHING on the internet about this because my router is all the way downstairs and my room is all the way upstairs! i only get 1 bar on internet connection on windows 7 and sometimes if i’m lucky 2. I already bought a expensive 300mbs network adapter for my computer which was supposed to extend the range through the 3 huge antennas but it didn’t make a difference. If someone could help me out and give me some ideas, i would be very greatful

in order to hook it up wired is you have to connect the router to the computer which doesn’t seem likely because of the distance. If the network adapter didn’t increase the range you are ut of luck you might just need to move the router or your computer.
