I am thinking of subscribing to a wi-max internet broadband connection recently. They will provide me with 256 kbps of bandwidth and unlimited amount of download . however this plan also says the unlimited option depends on Fair usage policy? anyone knows what that means?

What is the different between DSL and T1 internet connection ? Other than the speed, that T1 has faster speed than DSL.
What it has to do with the bandwidth? Why there is an explanation that the bandwidth on T1 are guaranteed and not on DSL.

I am using sky wireless. How can i get to increase the bandwidth of my broadband internet connection because anytime i start any download on my laptop, no other PC in my house cannot browse again or it will be extrememly slow.
