If you are a gamer, you will probably think the ping time is too great. And this connection is not ‘always on’ like DSL. It is only active when there is data being sent or received. That means it waits for a few seconds to see if you are calling any other data from the internet and if not it defaults back to 3g, waiting for your next request. You will notice a slight delay as it reconnects to the HSPA network when data is called. But for my type of browsing, this does not effect me too greatly. If your watching a video on Iplayer etc, it still manages to stream without any gaps or stutters.
