I have hi-speed internet:
Download Speed: 5229 kbps
Upload Speed: 5499 kbps
Is there any way at all i can make it faster?? and also, i have bearshare and the sped doesnt even get close to 4000 kbps. i dont know why, but please tell me how i can make it faster for bearshare too.

5229 kbps is one of the slowest speeds i’ve gotten. it usually reaches up to 11Mbps. why does it change so much? and is there anyway i can stop it from doing that, so it could always be around 9-12MB?
(i have fiber-optic internet and there is no modem, the ethernet cable just comes from the wall)

I’m looking to have broadband hooked up in the Angeles City area. Which company can offer me the highest upload speed? I am currently between the PLDT XCite package and Globes wired broadband ‘upto 3mbps’ deal. Do both companies offer reliable, uninterrupted service?
So far it looks like I’ll be going with PLDT DSL. Seems Globe doesn’t have the ability to either receive or answer email. Not a good quality in an ISP.

I was wondering if my internet was slow. It doesn’t seem slow but I think it could be faster. My download speed is 2150 kbps and my upload speed is 127 kbps. I am also using a linksys wireless g router.
