   hi i wonder if all the sony ericsson p990i have wlan or is it just some versions?

   all p990i’s have wLan in them… this mod is just to increase its ability to get signals better… In default Wlan (unmodified) u might not be able to get good signals.. This just helps it get better signals, thats all.

   Yeah if you have put security code then you use Wep to do dat so you use the same code you use in ur Wifi Unit… Usually ppl use Wep only but some use MAC id to give access to other device if someone has that in you wouldnt be able to get access no matter wat. until he inserts ur Mac id into the wifi unit(dlink or linksys etc)

    Dont have a name for the theme, i just gathered some icons together and made a theme out of it, about ur wlan settings if its not set on wep key and has some other security settings then ull have to meet them in setting options for Wlan. usually ur router settings can be accessed by typing 168.192.0.1 in ur address bar of ur browser. just check out the settings and match them up or change ur router settings to wep security its much more easier.

    hi there… i have followed the info but when i am going to the web and surf it says: cannot connect to server. Kindly help me. My wifi passcode is more than 5 digits. can i choose any 5 digit wep key?

    I dont know what falafon is… its been a while since ive sold my p990i i dont even remember how i did all of this.. t if u have some kind of wep key or other type just go to router setting change ur wap or other type of secure to wep type security as i only remember how to use it.. it asked for 5 digit or character. just follow the tutorial.. other then this i cant really help you.. you should go to ipmart or persian forum in uiq3 symbian section for help.

    my wlan have problem…halp mee…my wifi in home use wpk-psk2..i have setting my p990i.but my can play internet..after 10 second my p990i show warning error..and my p990i restart

    it comes to stip on 1:54 and when i press connwcr , it shows unable to connect !!

    Im having the same problem I have over 5 – 13 wep keys
    in my router … so I hve this unable to connect problem also

    try to google search i dont have the set with me otherwise i would have been able to help you guyz. Try experimenting with settings.
