Why is my internet speed slow?
I have SBC Yahoo DSL, and it hasn’t been this slow just about 4 days ago. I try watching videos from Youtube but it loads forever!
What are some useful tips I can do to make the internet speed run faster?
I use Mozilla firefox as my default internet browser, my ram is 1gb, and my computer seems to be in good shape too. So what’s the problem?
And I really don’t have many programs running too.

If the internet is very slow then there are many reason to say. Of course, the requirement of the PC is one thing. But the other important thing that you would never want to forget is the hacking from spywares, bad wares and virus. Those are something that could slow down your internet speed as well as your computer. Get the spyware and scan your machine to make sure you don’t have spyware on your PC.

Perform disk cleanup just double click on the my computer icon and right click on the c drive get into properties and run the disk cleanup……
Ctrl +alt + Del end proccess and iexplorers or firefox tahts is running… download ccleaner and use it to delete all your temp internet files and all taht..

sometimes depending on the time of day the rate of speed might be decreed some, also are you running a lot of programs at one time that might have something to do with it
you should try safari instead because firefox usually runs pretty slow compared to safari
it also may be the websites that you go to since some websites run very slowly
