so did that back haul work for you?? Have you tried the bullets yet?
I finally got the long backhaul (15.3 miles) up and running with a PS5-22V on one end and a PS5-EXT with a 28 dbi parabolic on the other end. Around -72 RSSI on both ends with a CCQ of 100%. It is passing traffic at around 10MB X 10MB. The bullets work well.
Dude you are too funny manggg. MAKE MORE Episodes. I want your job. I.T. and outdoors awesome!!!
You need to make a check list, And wear a tinfoil helmet, you can/have taken damage
If I cant get the local wisp into my neighborhood (HOA is bitching about a 100 ft tower), I want to get a T1 line ran to my house and create a mini wisp or NISP. I wonder how many houses I can get in on it with all the bandwidth intensive sites and apps these days, without having crappy internet. Right now we’re all stuck with hughesnet.
- Location?
- How many sunny days do you have over there per year?
- Do hailstorms cause damage to the solar panels, or do they only shatter when you beat them with your own equipment?
A T-1 line…why? That’s slow as shit!
T-1 = 1.5Mbps up/down then take away another 100Kbps for the over head and what do ya got? 1.44Mbps at best. Any tall buildings that you can see in the distance? See if you can negotiate a price for a spot ont he roof then bounce it to you. I work for a WISP and have seen it all, nothing is impossible!
Funny as! Keep up the good work and keep the camera rolling. Write a little check list before you go all the way up the tower and then find out… oh s#&t.. back to the workshop!
Too funny!
amazing. You have any plans online?
